Besides the spectacle of Harrison Ford, famed for his roles as Indiana Jones, Star Wars’ Han Solo, and a Hollywood legend, morphing into a colossal, enraged red monster, something entirely fresh is on its way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe: adamantium. This indestructible metal alloy, well-known to many Marvel fans, will significantly impact the sequel. The director has hinted that the arrival of this material will eventually pave the way for the introduction of Wolverine in the MCU.
In a conversation with Screen Rant, Onah clearly explained the distinction between adamantium and vibranium. Vibranium, found beneath the soil of Wakanda, has been instrumental in creating a variety of superhero technology, such as Sam Wilson’s latest Captain America suit. When discussing how the introduction of adamantium ties into “Brave New World”, the filmmaker hinted at the future appearance of Wolverine within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Adamantium is significantly stronger than other materials, unlike Vibranium which absorbs kinetic energy. In time, Adamantium will become integral to Project X and play a role in the narrative of Wolverine.
In the storyline, adamantium, which was previously found on Titan, transforms into a world-altering resource. This is distinct because vibranium is controlled by the Wakandans. Consequently, adamantium becomes an intriguing piece in geopolitical games within our movie.
Reactions to ‘Captain America: Brave New World‘ Have Been Mixed
Initial responses to “Captain America: Brave New World” are popping up online, and they’re unfortunately a mix of opinions. “@kirkneverdied on Twitter shared, “#CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld met and even surpassed my low expectations. You can sense the reshoots throughout the movie, and the main villain was a letdown. However, it feels the most cohesive the MCU has been since 2019. Sam has good chemistry with his partners, and it can tug at your heartstrings.” Meanwhile, @3CFilmss commented, “#CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld is an enjoyable film with decent action sequences and some memorable moments. Unfortunately, it didn’t reach the emotional or narrative heights I anticipated. Mackie was excellent as Captain America, and I appreciated the more serious tone, but it seemed a bit hollow.
