Dreambo, the fresh gaming venture co-founded by actor, producer, and comedian Sean Hayes along with Carrie Aizley, Robin Ruzan, Scott Icenogle, and Kevin Neustadt, is partnering with top-tier podcast studio and network Wondery to debut their inaugural game.
Excitedly diving into this fresh endeavor, I’ll leverage Wondery’s proficiency in brand development to carve out a niche in the marketplace. The journey begins with the summer release of the thrilling “QU!CK QU!CK QU!CK” at various retailers, created by Relatable, the geniuses behind the popular “What Do You Meme?” card game. This exhilarating game was birthed from the Dreambo founders’ passionate game nights.
For years, we’ve enjoyed playing ‘QU!CK QU!CK QU!CK’ with our loved ones, and it seemed unfair to keep such an enjoyable pastime to ourselves. So, we decided to spread the joy far and wide…and now, we’re excited to collaborate with the intellectual property specialists at Wondery and the gaming experts at Relatable to make this game accessible for gamers worldwide!” – Dreambos founders in a statement.
Dreambo was developed by the team consisting of friends and gaming enthusiasts, Emmy and Tony award-winner Hayes, actress-writer Aizley (known for her work in ‘Best in Show’ and ‘For Your Consideration’), writer-producer Ruzan (renowned for ‘Better Things’, ‘Saturday Night Live’), ASCAP award-winning composer and music producer Icenogle, and Neustadt, the president and CEO of Rainier Financial Group.
This group has been passionate about games for a long time, and their love encompasses board games, card games, party games, and more. When it comes to Dreambo, they plan to concentrate on crafting various gaming experiences that foster connections, providing not just fun but also happiness and laughter. Essentially, the goal of Dreambo is to use game nights as a means to bring people together, one shared laugh at a time with their classic games.
At Wondery, we’re all fired up about nurturing outstanding creative concepts and are thrilled to join forces with the comic geniuses at Dreambo to launch their unique games in the market,” said Nicole Blake, Chief Brand Officer at Wondery. “Dreambo’s games will unite people through humor and creativity. We can hardly wait for players ranging from eight to 108 to discover that QU!CK, QU!CK, QU!CK, is indeed the quickest route to fun!
Hollywood is teeming with gaming enthusiasts, ranging from Henry Cavill and Brie Larson to Aisha Tyler, along with Jason Bateman and Will Arnett from the podcast SmartLess. The affection for this medium often revolves around video games and tabletop games, with celebrities like Freddie Prinze Jr. and Joe Manganiello being avid fans. Now, Dreambo’s involvement in board games, card games, and party games brings these celebrity gamers into the creation phase of the products.
Within Dreambo’s team, Hayes is well-known for his passion for gaming. He has appeared on the fast-paced puzzle game show called “ClueLess,” which is produced by SmartLess Media and hosted by Elliott Kalan. Additionally, Hayes produces NBC’s “Hollywood Game Night,” which is hosted by Jane Lynch.
