As a long-time fan, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement when it comes to Kanye West’s latest project, “Bully.” The man never ceases to amaze me with his creative prowess and relentless pursuit of innovation. His recent move to Tokyo, as Touré pointed out, seems to be fueling a new sense of peace and focus that promises to yield some truly groundbreaking music.
As a dedicated fan, I’m knee-deep in the creation process for my next project, titled “Bully.” I’ve been dropping hints about its arrival and recently shared a sneak peek of an unheard track called “Beauty and the Beast.” Can’t wait to share more!
The artist posted on Instagram a brief, visual clip during his “Vultures” listening party held in Haikou, Hainan, China. As the song “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” plays in the backdrop, you can hear Ye singing and rapping against a superbly crafted beat that seems to incorporate The Mad Lads’ “Don’t Have To Shop Around.” This could suggest the direction of the new album’s sound. In his caption, he mentioned, “UPDATED FROM TOKYO. RAN THE ASR THROUGH THE SP 1200. BULLY ON THE WAY,” hinting that more is on the way.
A while back, just before sneaking a peek at the upcoming track, gaming enthusiast Touré took to social media and spilled some tea: Kanye West is now calling Tokyo home, immersed in creating his latest album and reveling in a newfound tranquility. In a video, he shared that Yeezy’s studio setup is right there in the hotel room – all the gear is set up for him to capture those magical beats.
Touré stated, “This album is a concept piece and Kanye intends to serve as its sole producer. Typically, Kanye’s music is the result of a team effort, with producers and writers contributing ideas. However, for this project, Kanye will be creating it largely on his own. This marks a new phase in his life as, in Tokyo, he can truly express himself without any constraints.
Check out the teaser below and stay tuned for Bully’s official release date.
