Yeat Earns His First No. 1 Album With 'LYFESTYLE'

As an avid music enthusiast with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that witnessing Yeat’s meteoric rise to the top of Billboard 200 with his album LYFESTYLE is nothing short of breathtaking. Coming from someone who has seen the likes of Michael Jackson, The Beatles, and Queen dominating the charts, this young artist has truly made a mark in the industry that I hold dear.

Yeat is setting a personal best on this week’s Billboard 200 as he debuts at No. 1 with LYFESTYLE.

In its initial release, Yeat’s latest project garnered a total of 89,000 album units, which comprises 60,000 in traditional album sales, 29,000 through streaming equivalent albums (39.67 million on-demand streams), and the rest as track equivalent album units. This achievement not only makes it his first No.1 single but also sets a new record for the highest number of units sold in a week. Previously this year, he had achieved a No.2 debut with his project from 2093.

Additionally this week, SEVENTEEN enters the chart with their new release “SPILL THE FEELS.” This album debuts at position No. 5, accumulating a total of 66,000 equivalent album units. Of these, 64,000 are from album sales, while the remaining 2,000 come from streaming equivalent album units, with the rest attributed to track equivalent album units.

In addition to Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, and Rod Wave who are ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively in this week’s top 10, the lower half of the list includes Morgan Wallen at 6th place, GloRilla at 7th, Gracie Abrams at 8th, Billie Eilish at 9th, and BigXthaPlug at 10th.
