Seven months have passed since last year, and now it seems that Yeat is finally revealing hints of his much-anticipated fifth studio album titled “LYFESTYLE.
This afternoon, rather unexpectedly, the rapper shared on Instagram the initial official trailer for his upcoming project.
The trailer begins by showing an elevator descending from the year 2093 to 2024, as it goes, the display at the top counts down. When the doors open, Yeat steps out into a house that appears to have been damaged severely; a bell suspended in the hallway swings wildly, leaving behind wreckage and scattered bones and skulls tumbling down the stairs.
Following his light-up of a cigarette, Yeat casually discards it on the ground, sparking a blaze that soon engulfs the entire house. He cautiously makes his way through the inferno, eventually emerging amidst a panicked group of horses galloping across the property and with the house now fully ablaze.
A LYFESTYLE title card hits the screen at the end.
Despite the trailer not revealing a specific release date, Yeat has suggested that the drop is coming soon in his Instagram caption. “LYFESTYLE IS HERE ########twattttt 🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖,” he wrote, hinting that he will release it next week if his post receives 200k comments.
