The stars of Hacks, namely Hannah Einbinder and Jean Smart, portray characters who navigate their professional lives; Ava (Einbinder), a struggling comedy writer, and Deborah Vance (Smart), a legendary stand-up comedian seeking to stay relevant on the Las Vegas strip.
