Although Chloe Fineman is primarily recognized as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, which is now in its acclaimed 50th season, she has been gracefully stepping into various new ventures. As she promotes her latest film, “Summer of ’69“, she even shared some pointers with Drew Barrymore to enhance her “sexy strut”. Nevertheless, it was Chloe’s eye-catching and scene-stealing structured dress that truly stole the show.

During an interview featuring the sex-filled comedy coming-of-age film, the pair decided to demonstrate some stripper moves that the SNL member had practiced while preparing for his role. One of the simplest routines was a catwalk-style strut, as captured in the video clip below.

After Fineman stood up, it was the complete, structured mini that kept me there. As soon as I fully appreciated the garment, I couldn’t help but stare, and I wasn’t alone – Barrymore praised her outfit to the audience as well.

In my perspective, this dress I’m wearing is a fascinating blend of boldness and subtlety, striking an intriguing balance between a neutral hue and an abstract silhouette. Other renowned figures, such as Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, have successfully pulled off similar architectural masterpieces with their Oscar gowns. Similarly, EmRata and Kim K left quite an impression at after-parties with their daring choices featuring asymmetrical and gravity-defying elements. It never ceases to amaze me how celebrities can effortlessly pull off such innovative designs, complete with intricate lines, hems, and other audacious details.

Currently, even though Fineman’s dress wasn’t specifically designed for an extensive sequence of dance moves reminiscent of a striptease, she managed to create a humorous and stylish impression by performing the act.

The film titled after the renowned Bryan Adams song is a humorous and sensual tale of adolescence, featuring well-known comic actors like Charlie Day, Nicole Byer, among others. Although Fineman didn’t reach Mikey Madison’s level of training for “Anora”, she put in considerable hours perfecting her comedic portrayal of the profession.

Speaking about it all on The Drew Barrymore Show, she shared the following about her experience:

It was incredible. It’s been nearly two or three months now, yet I find myself lacking in upper body strength. As a result, I’ve become quite proficient at floor exercises, you know, the kind that involve moving my body around like this [demonstrates fluid movements with hands]. And, similar to your situation, without a pole in my apartment and finding traditional workouts challenging, I excelled in floor-based exercises. To give an example, I mastered a sort of seductive push-up, but on the floor instead.

As a film enthusiast, I must admit I wasn’t overly familiar with Jillian Bell’s directorial debut, but my anticipation for its release on May 9th is palpable. The idea of Chloe Fineman portraying an exotic dancer aiding a high schooler in winning over their crush has me chuckling already. And knowing that she put in the effort to work with a seasoned professional can only elevate her performance.

As a die-hard cinema enthusiast, I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of summer ’69. If Fineman and Barrymore’s comical struts are any indication, it promises to be a hilarious ride! Here’s hoping the movie’s fashion is as stylish or visually appealing as this mini vehicle.
