As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for talent and an appreciation for versatility, I am thrilled to see Siddhant Chaturvedi‘s journey unfold. His relentless pursuit of learning new skills for every role he takes on is not only commendable but also sets him apart in the industry.
Siddhant Chaturvedi is generating considerable excitement ahead of his upcoming action movie titled Yudhra, which features Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal as co-stars. The trailer for director Ravi Udyawar’s project was unveiled at a special event in Mumbai. During the reveal, the actor from Gully Boy shared insights about how he honed intimacy skills during the filming of Gehraiyaan, which proved beneficial for his performance in Yudhra.
During the trailer launch of Yudhra, Siddhant Chaturvedi talked about his preparation for the role and how he bagged the role in the film. The actor shared that he has constantly been evolving as an actor and loves films where he gets to learn skills.
He explained his point further revealing, “For Gully Boy, I was rapping, for Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, I learned stand-up comedy, for Gehraiyaan I learned intimacy and I think for this one it was a prerequisite. It’s an action film such a big film, so I had to just go for it, and I have a little bit of background in martial arts and I always wanted to showcase.”
Later on, Siddhant reminisced about running into Siddharth Roy Kapur (Sidhwani) following the release of Gully Boy, which eventually led him to take on Yudhra as his debut project after the blockbuster starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. He acknowledged that the movie’s delay was due to its grand nature, as he put it, “a big one.” Subsequently, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation towards Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar for trusting him enough to handle a film of such magnitude for a fresh face in the industry.
The actor from the show “Kho Gaye Hum Kahan” reminisced about Sidhwani inquiring about his career aspirations. In reply, he voiced his desire to star in an action movie. He explained that during his struggling period on Juhu beach, he was learning action sequences and practicing martial arts with his coach. Thus, he had compiled a highlight reel of these actions and sent it to Ritesh, asking if he could be cast in an action film.
In this period, Farhan and Sridhar Raghavan undertook work on the movie, with Ravi Udyawar joining in as well. Consequently, Siddhant was confirmed for the part.
Yudhra has caused a lot of excitement online because of its intriguing posters. This forthcoming action-packed movie features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malvika Mohanan as the main characters, while Raghav Juyal plays the antagonist. The film is set to hit theaters on September 20, 2024.
