In a refreshing twist of events, not every hero dons capes, as demonstrated by Zack Snyder in his recent guest appearance on the highly-praised Apple TV+ series, The Studio. The latest installment of Seth Rogen’s witty comedy-drama unfolded at a fictional Golden Globes event, where Matt Remick (played by Rogen), the CEO of Continental Studios, was frantic to get Zoë Kravitz to acknowledge him in her award acceptance speech. Among the many A-list stars gracing the stage, Snyder made an amusing jab at his Justice League “Snyder Cut.
In episode 8 of “The Studio,” titled “The Golden Globes,” it was a glittering event, mirroring the real annual awards ceremony, filled with appearances by famous faces such as Adam Scott (“Severance”), Quinta Brunson (“Abbott Elementary”), Jean Smart (“Hacks”), Aaron Sorkin (“The West Wing”), Ramy Youssef (“Poor Things”), and Netflix’s co-CEO Ted Sarandos. However, it was Zack Snyder who stole the show, bringing on the laughter from both the audience and viewers at home with his witty self-deprecation. He jokingly mocked the 2021 director’s cut of his 2017 film, “Justice League.
