At this year’s LVMH Watch Week, Zenith has revealed two captivating updates to its renowned timepieces. In 2023, Zenith will highlight the Defy model, while in 2024, attention shifts towards the Chronomaster. However, for 2023 and 2024, Zenith is balancing the limelight by showcasing both series equally with the debut of the Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton and the Chronomaster Sport Rainbow.
Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton
The Defy Skyline collection from Zenith gets two new additions – sleek skeletonized chronographs that blend luxury and sportiness. These latest entries, known as the Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton, are made of stainless steel and come in a classic 42mm octagonal case. The dial is openworked, revealing the intricate El Primero 3600SK movement within. As with previous models, you can see this caliber both on the watch face and through the transparent back, where its distinctive star-shaped oscillating weight spins.
The watch, available in both black and blue, retails for $15,500 USD. It comes with a stainless steel band as well as a rubber strap that complements the face of the watch.

Chronomaster Sport Rainbow
Zenith is known for exhibiting an experimental attitude when designing unique builds for the Defy line, often steering clear of gemstone creations. However, last year, they ventured into the realm of gem-set timepieces with their debut of the Chronomaster Sport, featuring a rose gold case adorned with blue, dark gray, and silver-gray gems. Building upon this successful model’s foundation, Zenith elevates the luxurious and vibrant concept even further with the introduction of the Chronomaster Sport Rainbow – a timepiece that showcases rainbow-hued gemstones as suggested by its name.
The bezel adorned with variously colored gemstones and the rainbow-hued sapphire hour markers mirror each other beautifully. This is complemented by a black lacquered dial that creates an undisturbed backdrop, letting the gems sparkle brilliantly. Additionally, the subdials are tinted in shades of blue, dark gray, and silver-gray, mirroring the classic three-color scheme of the Chronomaster watch.
The watch, priced at $112,100 USD, is enclosed in a 41mm case crafted from 18-karat white gold, accompanied by an identical white gold bracelet. It boasts a 60-hour power reserve and operates using Zenith’s renowned El Primero 3600 movement.
