Zenith x Porter Reveal Travel-Centric Pilot Watch Collaboration

As a seasoned traveler and watch enthusiast with a penchant for both style and functionality, I can’t help but be intrigued by this Zenith-Porter collaboration. The travel theme resonates deeply with my nomadic spirit, and the khaki ceramic finish on these Pilot watches exudes an air of rugged elegance that speaks directly to my adventurous heart.

The secret is out: Zenith and Porter, renowned Japanese bag manufacturers, have teamed up for an unanticipated project. Sharing a common travel motif, they introduced a pair of exclusive Pilot watches, encased in khaki ceramic.

In a 40mm case, the Zenith Pilot Automatic Porter Edition features a matching khaki-colored case and dial. Powered for up to 60 hours, it operates on the Swiss company’s El Primero 3620 movement, which includes a date window at 6 o’clock.

Just like the Zenith Pilot Big Date Flyback Porter Edition, it too shares a harmonious color scheme but boasts a slightly expanded case diameter of 42.5mm. Inside this watch lies the El Primero 3652 caliber, providing an impressive 60-hour power reserve and accommodating the big date, chronograph, and flyback functions.

The design of both models stays true to its inherent characteristics, with grooved dials resembling old metal aircraft sheets. Arabic numbers and logos are filled with lume for easy reading in dim light, while they shine brightly white under good lighting conditions. A pop of color on the dial comes from orange handsets, a nod to the classic orange interior of Porter’s bags.

The Pilot Automatic Porter Edition and the Pilot Big Date Flyback Porter Edition each come with different price points: $11,300 USD for the former and $15,500 USD for the latter. Both of these models are part of a limited run of 500 pieces, and they both include a khaki-colored Codura effect rubber strap and an additional nylon khaki strap by Porter. You can place your order for either model through Zenith starting October 26.
