About 13 years back, he appeared in the Hollywood movie “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” alongside Tom Cruise and others. To commemorate this significant milestone, Anil shared photos with the cast, labeling the moments as ‘everlasting.’
On December 7th, 2024, Anil Kapoor posted a collection of photos from his Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol days on his social media platform (previously known as Twitter). The first snapshot was taken at the Dubai International Film Festival premiere on the same date in 2011. In a smart black suit, Anil can be seen standing next to director Brad Bird and fellow actors Tom Cruise, Paula Patton, and Simon Pegg.
In the second photo, we see a moment in the movie where the character Brij Nath (played by him) engages with Paula Patton’s character, Jane Carter. A different shot captures the cast smiling together inside the Burj Khalifa. The final picture is from the Mumbai premiere, featuring Sonam Kapoor posing alongside her father Anil Kapoor and Tom Cruise.

13 years back, Anil Kapoor posted on Twitter that Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol featured a stellar cast and lasting moments. Ranging from climbing the Burj Khalifa to memorable red carpet events, these experiences continue to stay fresh in our minds.
Reflecting on his involvement in the film, Anil said, “It was truly an honor to be a part of such an amazing adventure. Cheers to the lasting memory of missions thought impossible!
Currently, Anil Kapoor has completed filming for his upcoming movie titled Subedaar. On Instagram, he expressed his thoughts by saying, “From dreams to reality, from imagination to creation – Subedaar is coming to life through hard work and heart. The schedule is wrapped up, but the enchantment is only starting. I’m thankful for the team, their passion, and this incredible journey.
The action drama is directed by Suresh Triveni. Subedaar will be released on Amazon Prime Video.
In addition to his current role, Anil Kapoor is expected to make appearances in future installments of the YRF Spy Universe. This is said to include the sequel to War, starring Hrithik Roshan, as well as Alia Bhatt’s film titled Alpha.
