On December 14th, Karan Johar posted some captivating backstage photos on Instagram from the set of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The first image depicts Karan directing the movie while holding a coffee mug. Another compilation includes Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, both grinning and posing amicably together.
Additionally, there’s an impactful scene featuring all the main characters, along with a touching photo of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan together. The audience gets to witness some timeless moments starring Kareena Kapoor as Poo, such as her captivating appearance in a red dress alongside Hrithik Roshan, and another where she dons a traditional salwar suit with Hrithik Roshan in a kurta. Looking back at his career milestones, Karan Johar (KJo) reminisced about the extraordinary feeling of working alongside a legendary cast during his second directorial venture. He gratefully acknowledged the exceptional efforts of his talented crew and actors for having faith in him, allowing him to portray a blend of happiness and sadness on screen. During an earlier conversation on the Cyrus Says YouTube channel, filmmaker Nikkhil Advani shared that Shah Rukh Khan had originally conceived a spectacular helicopter arrival for his role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Yet, his assumptions differed significantly from what transpired, as he found himself disheartened when his part merely entailed exiting the helicopter. He clarified that the plotline was centered around Jaya Bachchan’s character, who discovers her son’s arrival the instant he touches the ground instead.
