25-Year-Old Missing Crypto Influencer Found Dead in Montreal

As a seasoned crypto investor with over a decade of experience, this news hits close to home. I had followed Kevin Mirshahi’s journey with Crypto Paradise Island and was intrigued by his bold approach to the crypto market. However, the allegations against him and the tragic circumstances surrounding his disappearance were concerning.

Officials in Canada have verified that the remains found in Île-de-la-Visitation park, Montreal, belong to 25-year-old social media personality who specializes in cryptocurrency, Kevin Mirshahi.

On October 30, investigators found the remains, bringing an end to a probe that started when Mirshahi vanished back in late June. The disappearance occurred after Mirshahi and three others were taken from a condo in Old Montreal, yet unlike the others who were safely released, Mirshahi was not found, sparking concerns about potential wrongdoing.

Despite the assumption that Mirshahi was deceased as early as August this year, recent findings have led to the identification of his remains by the authorities.

Mirshahi established Crypto Paradise Island, a financial investment company that has come under examination from the Quebec securities regulator, known as the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

In 2021, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers initiated an investigation against the company, culminating in a ban on Mirshahi, two colleagues, and the company itself from engaging in any securities or investment activities, effective July 2024. Additionally, the ruling required the removal of all social media content linked to the firm by this date.

In August, authorities in Montreal apprehended a 32-year-old woman suspected of being connected to the kidnappings and the death of Mirshahi. She is currently facing charges that include first-degree murder, as well as other allegations.
