Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi teamed up for the first time in a Hindi movie titled “Inquilaab” back in 1984. This collaboration was under the direction of T Rama Rao.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about this classic movie where Amitabh Bachchan breathed life into the character of Amarnath. The legendary Sridevi, an actress I adore, played Asha in the same film. This cinematic masterpiece also featured the talents of Utpal Dutt, Kader Khan, Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor, and Nirupa Roy. It’s a star-studded lineup that never fails to captivate me!

The narrative centers on the character of Bachchan, named Amarnath or simply Amar, who despite his education, finds it difficult to secure employment. Kader Khan portrays Shankar Narayan, a politician, who trains Amar to become a police officer. Later, Shankar exploits Amar by involving him in criminal activities.
