As we dive into February, the month might be brief in duration, but it’s certainly packed with a wealth of content. While many popular streaming services have enticing offerings, there’s also an intriguing selection worth checking out on one of the less-discussed platforms.
Typically, discussions often revolve around what’s next on Netflix and Disney+. However, for those looking forward to watching Super Bowl LIX, it’s important to note that the event will not be broadcast on these services (nor on many other mainstream streaming platforms).
Kinda Pregnant – February 5 (Netflix)
It seems like it’s been some time since Amy Schumer has been in the spotlight. If you’ve been eagerly waiting for her next venture and happen to be a Netflix subscriber, your wait is over! Schumer appears in “Kinda Pregnant,” a comedy where she feigns pregnancy to gain the same attention as her pregnant friend, eventually encountering the man of her dreams.
Invincible, Season 3 – February 6 (Prime Video)
Superhero content remains the most popular, yet not all of it is suitable for everyone. A subscription to Prime Video provides you with a home for unconventional superheroes, thanks to the successes of live-action series like “The Boys” and animated shows such as Robert Kirkman’s “Invincible.” The latter series begins its third season this week.
The Kardashians, Season 6 – February 6 (Hulu)
As a devoted moviegoer, I’ve been following the Kardashian saga for quite some time now – over two decades, in fact! If you’re already hooked, then you don’t need me to convince you; the sixth season of their reality show is just around the corner. But if it’s not your cup of tea, well, I can’t change your mind with words.
The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl – February 7 (Disney+)
It’s clear from the success of Mufasa: The Lion King that people worldwide continue to hold a deep affection for The Lion King. If you’re particularly drawn to its memorable music, then you’ll probably enjoy The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl. This concert showcases a mix of talents from both animated and live-action adaptations of the story, performing tracks from the films as well as the hit Broadway production.
Super Bowl LIX – February 9 (Tubi)
This week marks the annual grand spectacle of television, and much like numerous other live TV events now, the Super Bowl won’t deviate from this trend. The game will be aired on Fox, an interesting twist being that it will stream for free via their less-advertised service, Tubi. The advantage is that you won’t have to pay anything, but having a free account with them is necessary to watch the Super Bowl.
For the next seven days, we’ve got an exciting lineup of streamed content! This month promises even more entertainment, so keep an eye on us as we guide you through the vast collections of engaging videos to discover the gems that are truly worth your time.
