9-1-1: Nashville Casts Chris O’Donnell’s Son and More Surprise Characters

For the forthcoming series, we’ve got some fresh updates about the newcomers joining the team. As previously disclosed, Chris O’Donnell is set to take a prominent role, and now, additional details about his fellow cast members have been confirmed.

In the TV show “9-1-1: Nashville“, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz, and Hunter McVey have been brought on board as new cast members. They will be working alongside previously announced series stars such as Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, along with the already confirmed star, Connie Britton (O’Donnell).

As I’ve been fortunate enough to land the role of “Taylor,” a remarkable firefighter with an extraordinary singing voice, it’s probably due to my Tony and Grammy Award nominations. My stellar performance in the Broadway production of Once on This Island certainly played a part in securing this role. Besides that, I’ve graced the screens of Starz TV series Power Book III: Raising Kanana, and made appearances in The Village and Amazing Stories. This year also marks the release of my debut solo album.

Reportedly, the character Provost is portraying is “Ryan,” a contemporary cowboy figure among firefighters. He gained some insight for this role through his previous appearance in Kevin Costner’s Western series titled “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2“. In addition to this, Provost has acted in the film “The Holdovers” and television shows like “The Sex Lives of College Girls” and “Insatiable“.

Feliz has been chosen to play the character “Roxie,” who is portrayed as a thrill-seeker with a past as a trauma surgeon. This role comes after her appearance in the preliminary episode for the spinoff of The Equalizer, though it wasn’t picked up for a full series run. Previously, she was seen on shows such as Harlem, DMZ, and Fleishman Is in Trouble. She also recently starred in the movie Civil War.

McVey completes the fresh cast members by portraying the character “Blue.” This will be McVey’s first screen appearance. His character, Blue, is depicted as a troubled tough guy turned firefighter, who carries a haunting past with him.

Previously it was disclosed that O’Donell will portray Captain Don Sharpe, a seasoned firefighter with a past as a rodeo performer. Additionally, he is the father of Ryan, who is being played by the recent casting choice Provost. Capshaw takes on the role of Blythe Sharpe, the wife of Don and the mother of Ryan.
