Vicky Kaushal on Masaan’s iconic dialogue

In an interview about Masaan, the actor shared how he prepared for his poignant scene and the famous line: “Why can’t this pain go away?” For this moment in the initial episode of Be A Man Yaar, Kaushal shared that he invested an hour by the Ganges’ edge, visualizing the loss of his mother.

In his absence from the shoot, he pictured returning to find that his mother had sadly passed away, unbeknownst to him due to the desire of those around him to protect his focus on completing his debut film. He mentally played out a sequence where it had been twenty days since her demise, leaving him utterly alone in his ignorance.

In terms of his career, the actor known as Dunki is currently working on the film “Chhaava” directed by Laxman Utekar. He recently completed filming for this project and has been sharing sneak peeks from the set with his followers on social media.

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about an upcoming project! In addition to this, I have the privilege of working alongside stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War. This collaboration with such esteemed artists is truly a dream come true for me as we bring love and war to life on the big screen.
