As a longtime fan of 90 Day Fiancé franchises, I must say that this season has been quite a rollercoaster ride, with a cast of characters that are hard to root for at times. The storyline between Loren and Faith has been particularly challenging to watch, especially when it comes to the revelation about his infidelity.
❗️Attention! This information reveals spoilers from the “Catch 22” episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Watch it with a Max membership, but beware – proceed at your own peril!
90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Season 7 has been tough to get through, mainly due to a group of characters that are difficult to root for. While Loren Allen’s tale with Faith has provided several intriguing scenes, the recent episodes where he admitted to sleeping around their entire relationship have been hard to stomach. Faith was visibly shaken by Loren’s disclosure, and unfortunately, her sisters didn’t offer the most helpful advice during this difficult time.
Occasionally, family members serve as the voice of sanity within relationships on shows like “90 Day Fiancé”. This was evident with Chidi Ikpeamaeze’s sister, Victoria, who potentially saved her brother from a life entangled with vampires and cannibals, such as Rayne Fernandez. However, it’s important to note that at times, siblings can also unintentionally hinder their brothers or sisters’ well-being. In my view, I believe this is what transpired in the most recent episode.
Faith’s Sisters Had Some Advice For How To Handle Loren
Loren hoped Faith wouldn’t reveal the talk about his infidelity and STD to her family, but the minute she was along with her sisters she came clean. She mentioned that, right now, she’s only friends with Loren, and she’s not sure she can move forward with a relationship. Much to my surprise, her sisters understood her concern, but ultimately felt like she should give Loren a pass.
Support for this viewpoint predominantly originated from Bea, Faith’s sister who is also transgender. Bea, being a fellow trans individual, acknowledged the challenges of forming lasting relationships, particularly in the Philippines. Although they acknowledged Loren’s wrongdoing, they believed there was enough goodness in him for Faith to forgive him and move forward.
Faith Disagreed With Their Advice, And I’m Glad She Did
Initially taken aback by Faith’s family’s viewpoint, I found myself concerned about how she would react. However, contrary to my expectations, she boldly challenged their perspective. She firmly believed that she deserved a partner who could give her unconditional love and shouldn’t have to sacrifice her desires for a relationship simply because starting over might be challenging.
More On 90 Day Fiancé
The narrative of “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” featuring Chidi and Rayne was initially complicated, but there’s a possibility of a joyful conclusion for him.
I thoroughly enjoyed delving into Faith’s perspectives, and the narrative brings to mind similar situations from 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Season 6. Similarly, Cleo and Christian Allgood faced challenges related to commitment, with Christian entertaining advances from other women. Ultimately, their relationship ended, only to briefly reconcile before parting ways once more.
In other words, it seems plausible that their relationship might continue if Loren and Faith stay together, despite suggestions from social media that they are no longer dating. However, maintaining a relationship where one person desires exclusivity while the other is free to be with others doesn’t appear to be sustainable in the long run.
From Faith’s point of view in this episode, it leaves me pondering how the rest of their story might unfold. It appears that Faith is more certain than not that she won’t proceed with Loren, so it could be that we’ll witness him boarding a plane bound for the U.S. in the upcoming episodes. All we can do now is stay tuned and find out!
On Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET, TLC carries on airing “90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days”. I’m eagerly anticipating how the remainder of this narrative unfolds, and what choice Faith will make concerning her future with Loren.
