Aisha Hinds expresses a heartfelt goodbye to her fellow cast member from 911, after the demise of his character leaves everyone stunned.

On April 17th’s episode of ABC’s long-running drama series, for the first time in its eight seasons, one of the main characters was written off: L.A. Fire Captain Bobby Nash, portrayed by Peter Krause. In this episode, Bobby selflessly gave up his life to save his team members, ultimately succumbing to a lethal virus that he and his fellow firefighters had been working tirelessly to control.

On Saturday, Aisha Hinds, known for portraying Henrietta “Hen” Wilson on the show 911, shared a touching tribute on Instagram following their eighth season of working together with actor Peter Krause.

In a heartfelt message, I expressed my admiration for Peter Krause’s exceptional acting skills. His body of work has consistently impressed me, but witnessing his captivating performances on @911onabc week after week is an experience I will cherish forever. Being part of this show has been a pivotal moment in my career that I’ll always hold dear.

I am deeply grateful for Peter’s leadership and the way he nurtured our team during those long days and nights on set. He had a knack for comforting us with his quiet kindness, and his infectious laughter brought light to even the darkest moments. His warm demeanor created an inviting atmosphere for everyone who stepped into our small world.

What truly sets Peter apart is his unwavering integrity and character. I am thankful for the example he has set, both on and off camera, and I will carry these lessons with me throughout my career. In essence, working with Peter Krause has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I will never forget.

Hinds went on saying, “Without a doubt, losing Bobby Nash, the heart of our team, 118, changed our direction. I cherish deeply the moments that made our time together so unique. Our interactions, both on and off-screen, were marked by playful banter and periods of exhausted silence. Riding in transit vans, their conversation became the background music that I always enjoy hearing. Somehow, I hear every word they say, even if I’m not really listening to them. The atmosphere around us is electric, and it surrounds everyone who joins us on this journey. It’s love.

Without a doubt, my pulse quickened with fear while I was reading the script, it shattered with sadness as we filmed each scene, and finally, as both an actor and viewer, I watched with a mix of awe, grief, gratitude, and reverence as Pete poured out himself and left an indelible mark on our homes through Bobby Nash. I applaud his dedication and the impact he’s made on this character and our show. I will always admire him.

After the unexpected finale, other “911” cast members have posted heartfelt goodbyes. Last week, Kenneth Choi (who plays Howie “Chimney” Han) shared on Instagram, “Peter Krause, you are an exceptionally classy individual, an incredibly talented actor, and simply the kindest soul. THANK YOU, PK. I admire and love you, friend.

Oliver Stark, the actor who plays Evan “Buck” Buckley, expressed on his social media, “Dearest Peter, your absence at work is felt every day. You have been, and will continue to be, our constant guide.
