Jameson Announces First Music Distiller Program with Anderson .Paak

As a fan of music and whiskey, I am absolutely thrilled about Jameson’s new global music program, Distilled Sounds. The opportunity to witness the collaboration between talented artists from different regions is a unique concept that has the potential to create something truly special. And with Anderson .Paak leading the charge, it’s an even more exciting prospect.

Jameson Irish whiskey is deepening its involvement in the arts community with the introduction of Distilled Sounds, a worldwide music project. Kicking off this endeavor is American musician and producer Anderson .Paak based in California. Over several years, this cooperative effort will bring together over twenty artists from various locations to create, produce, and perform fresh sounds together.

In today’s launch announcement, Jameson unveiled a humorous short film starring Anderson .Paak of NxWorries fame. He appears as both himself and his DJ persona, DJ Pee.Wee. The film, directed by Glenn Kitson, depicts the legendary 64 Sound Studio transforming into a Jameson-branded radio station. Here, Anderson .Paak is discovered broadcasting the news. He shares the reason behind his participation, “Collaboration has led to some of my best work. With Distilled Sounds, we’re fostering a community of musicians.”

As a fan, I can relate the brand’s approach to sharing a cozy whiskey night with friends. They aim to use Distilled Sounds as a space where we exchange thoughts and distinct styles. With regional sounds gaining more worldwide recognition, they hope that the chance for face-to-face collaboration will inspire these artists to explore new genres and infuse their unique local influences into diverse music landscapes.

In the beginning, the initial leg of this worldwide musical partnership journey will kick off in Cork, Ireland, which is where Jameson hails from, starting next month. Here, Anderson .Paak intends to join forces with the local musicians at its Sound Distillery. He plans to help and instruct these artists as they develop a fresh collection of music. Regarding this first get-together, Anderson .Paak shares his thoughts: “This event will offer a platform for artists from various parts of the globe to collaborate in person. The essential ingredients for songwriting – connection and inspiration – are most effectively fostered through face-to-face interactions. Therefore, we’ll be gathering artists in Ireland, where they’ll immerse themselves in a week filled with creativity, improvisation, and producing new music at our Sound Distillery.”

I’ve seen too many instances in my life where drinking irresponsibly or underage has led to negative consequences for myself and those around me. It’s important to remember that every decision we make, including what we choose to put in our bodies, can have an impact on our health, relationships, and future opportunities. So I strongly advise against engaging in such behaviors and instead, let’s all commit to drinking responsibly and legally as adults.
