Fred Armisen and Riki Lindhome Quietly Tied the Knot Two Years Ago

As a gamer and someone who follows entertainment news, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about Fred Armisen and Riki Lindhome‘s unexpected romance and quick marriage. I’ve always admired their acting skills on shows like “Portlandia” and “Wednesday,” and it’s fascinating to see how their real-life connection evolved over the years.

Fred Armisen and Riki Lindhome are married — and have been for two years.

Fifteen years prior to their romantic involvement in early 2022, the “Wednesday” co-stars were already acquainted with each other. In an interview with “People”, Lindhome revealed that she had developed feelings for Armisen during filming, but was hesitant to pursue a relationship due to her upcoming surrogacy.

I had this strong desire to go out on a date, and that’s all I knew. So, I decided to take things into my own hands and explore my options. It didn’t happen overnight; instead, it unfolded naturally as time went by. I didn’t label him as the father figure right away. Instead, I found myself wanting to share a meal with him. My thoughts were consumed by the idea of kissing him and getting to know him better. And before I knew it, our connection deepened further.

When I was filming a project and my son Keaton was born, I missed out on meeting him right away. At that point, Lindhome and I had only been dating for a short while. She didn’t want me to feel obligated or pressured, so I waited before getting involved in her and our son’s lives.

She recalled saying, “All I’m asking for is the truth. If that’s not something you can provide, it doesn’t make you a bad person. I’m not angry with you.” She added, “I believe you’re exceptional, but I want you to truly understand your feelings and express them honestly because this decision could greatly impact our lives.” He responded, “Alright, alright.”

A few weeks passed, and I shared with her my desire to join their circle as a family member. Fast-forwarding three months ahead, we tied the knot secretly at the courthouse without revealing it to many until afterwards.

“Lindhome and I had been friends for an extended period. One evening, things between us suddenly changed. We shared a meal together, and before we knew it, our friendship evolved into something more. It took us by surprise. I believe the turn of events was more unexpected for him.”
