As a dedicated fan of The Weeknd, I’ve been following his musical journey closely since his early days with “House of Balloons.” His ability to create immersive worlds through his music and visuals has always left me in awe. With this latest teaser for the third and final chapter of his album trilogy, my excitement is at an all-time high.
The Weeknd gave fans a first preview at the third and final “chapter” of his ongoing album trilogy.
The head of XO Records posted on Instagram a video displaying recurring themes from The Weeknd, evident since “After Hours.” These consist of his red attire, sunglasses, sports car, and the depiction of him as an elderly man, seen in the cover art for “Dawn FM.” In the background, an unheard track featuring The Weeknd’s vocals plays while a younger version of the artist emerges, encircled by white figures reaching out towards him. As a beam of light descends and illuminates, revealing a garden beneath his feet, the caption reads, “This story consists of three parts.”
At the time of this article’s publication, no formal announcement has been made. However, The Weeknd revealed to Variety in June 2023 that he was wrapping up his latest project. He shared, “The name will be revealed soon, but it’s not what fans are currently speculating. One of the titles being circulated is actually a song on the album, not the title of the album itself.”
