Sonam Kapoor on being 'most judgy human being on the planet'; says she would've been 'canceled and crucified' today

As a die-hard fan of Sonam Kapoor, I have always admired her bold and outspoken personality. Her ability to express her opinions fearlessly is something that has made her stand out in Bollywood. However, during a recent interview with Dirty Magazine, Sonam revealed something surprising about herself – she used to be very judgmental in the past.

Sonam Kapoor, recognized for her boldness among Bollywood actresses, is unafraid to express her views on various topics. Known for her roles in films like Neerja, Sonam has not hesitated to speak out freely. However, reflecting on her past, Sonam now admits she may have been too quick to judge.

The actress believes she would face severe backlash and public condemnation if she expressed those comments now, unlike in the past when they went unnoticed or ignored.

Sonam Kapoor on being judgmental in the past

In an interview with Dirty Magazine, Sonam Kapoor shared that she used to believe she was very open-minded and non-judgmental as a young person. However, she came to the surprising realization later in life that she is actually one of the most judgmental people on Earth.

The beautifully renowned actress, who later became a renowned fashion figure globally, pondered over the things she had gotten away with saying during her younger years. Imagine if she had behaved similarly in today’s social media era! She would have faced severe backlash and public criticism, potentially leading to her being “canceled” or heavily criticized.

Sonam Kapoor on wanting to get back to acting

As an obsessed fan, I can’t help but be thrilled by Sonam’s unwavering commitment to her acting career. She’s made it clear that she’ll return to the silver screen, regardless of public opinion. It’s strange, isn’t it? Despite being offered roles for 20-year-olds, Sonam acknowledged that she doesn’t resemble her younger cousins, Janhvi and Khushi, in terms of age. Yet, she’s thankful for the compliments about her timeless appearance.

Sonam Kapoor, mother of young son Vayu, expressed her desire to keep her child’s identity private. “It’s none of anyone else’s concern if he has been seen by the world or not,” she stated. “Vayu didn’t ask for fame, so I won’t impose it on him. The world is filled with intrusive and strange individuals; I don’t want my child’s image circulating as long as I can prevent it.”
