As a dedicated follower of the Kapoor family, I have been thrilled to witness the recent addition of joy and happiness into their lives with the arrival of Raha Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s daughter. The entire Kapoor clan, including me, has grown closer since the passing away of our beloved Rishi Kapoor. We have become more united than ever before, not just in our immediate family but also in our extended family.

I’ve been thrilled to witness the beautiful journey of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt this year. In April 2022, they tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony. A few short months later, in November, we were blessed with their adorable daughter, Raha Kapoor. It goes without saying that she has brought an immeasurable amount of happiness into our Kapoor family’s lives. Lately, my dear sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared some heartwarming thoughts about how the arrival of Raha has transformed our world since the passing of our beloved patriarch, Rishi Kapoor.

During a recent chat with Anushka Arora, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared that since her father’s passing, her family has grown much closer. This unity extends not only to her immediate family members but also to many others in their extended family. They frequently keep in touch via phone calls and are well-informed about each other’s lives, even though they don’t meet daily.

Instead of “She went on to talk about ‘new addition’ with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s daughter, Raha Kapoor,” you could say: “She continued the conversation about Raha Kapoor, the new addition to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s family.”

The acclaimed jewelry designer noted that her daughter, Samara Kapoor Sahni, refers to Ranbir as “RK,” but she had hoped Samara would call him “uncle” or another term instead of “mama ji.” Meanwhile, Ranbir preferred to be called “RK” by everyone.

Riddhima couldn’t contain her excitement as she praised little Raha, “She’s a delight to behold. So incredibly adorable! Although we’re miles apart, in Delhi and Mumbai respectively, we connect through FaceTime every so often. She’s fond of my beloved Shih Tzu, Killian. He may not be able to pronounce his name correctly, but her attempts – ‘Killi boo,’ ‘Killi-am,’ ‘boo Killiy-am’ – only make him more endearing to me. My heart swells with affection, and I can’t help but melt, calling her my baby, she’s so precious.”

In her opinion, Raha possesses the most desirable traits from Ranbir and Alia, making her a beautiful blend of both. At times, she also bears a striking resemblance to her own daughter.

I find it fascinating how much Samara resembles my brother. It’s almost as if they are linked by family genes. She carries features from not just him, but also my husband, father, and mother. Raha, on the other hand, bears an uncanny resemblance to Alia and my dad. And let me tell you, she’s an adorable bundle of joy! Her cuteness is off the charts, making her a good baby in every sense.
