As a hardcore sci-fi fan and avid Apple TV+ subscriber, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard that Steve Zahn is joining the cast of “Silo” for its second season! This show has been on my must-watch list since its debut, and the addition of such a talented actor as Zahn only makes it more compelling.
Steve Zahn is joining Apple TV+‘s sci-fi series Silo for season two.
At San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, the production team of the show revealed the latest news during their panel. The unexpected attendance of Zahn added excitement to the event, as he joined stars Rebecca Ferguson and Common, along with creator and executive producer Graham Yost, and fellow executive producer Hugh Howey.
As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that during the recent panel, we got some exciting news about the upcoming season of our favorite show. Starting November 15, we’ll be able to enjoy ten new episodes! The first episode will be available on Apple TV+ right away for us to savor. And here’s the best part: every Friday through January 17, 2025, a new episode will drop, keeping us hooked week after week. Can’t wait to see what lies ahead in this gaming adventure!
For the second season, joining the cast are Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McCrae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, and Iain Glen. (Each person is introduced as “joining the cast” to make it clear that they are new additions.)
In “Silo,” a community of approximately 10,000 people live in an underground shelter inspired by Howey’s novel series. Their sanctuary lies a mile deep below the hazardous world above, as they strive to survive. The reason for building this shelter remains a mystery, and those who seek answers encounter grave danger.
The executive producers of the show come from Apple Studios and include Yost, Ferguson, Howey, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Morten Tyldum, Fred Golan, and Rémi Aubuchon, with AMC Studios also involved.
In the initial installment of “The White Lotus,” Zahn made an appearance, leading to an Emmy nod for his acting. Recently, he has also been seen on shows like “George & Tammy” and “The Righteous Gemstones.”
Silo’s first season is currently streaming on Apple TV+.
