New actress Zareen Khan started her film career alongside acting legend Salman Khan in the movie “Veer.” Due to her debut role with such a renowned actor, she encountered high levels of anticipation and felt slightly overwhelmed by Khan’s massive fame. In a recent interview, she shared her thoughts about working on the set during that time.

In a chat with comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya, Zareen shared that being near Salman Khan brought on a sensation of “being in awe” or “feeling star-struck.” While there was an element of fear, it was predominantly due to feeling overpowered.

I was completely star-struck around Salman during our film shoot, but he made me feel at ease despite my awkwardness. If he sensed my unease, he would reassure me with kind words or actions. I couldn’t help but be a bit shy and nervous in his presence, but he never made me feel uncomfortable or intimidated.

1. She found herself gazing at him in amazement, prompting Salman to query, “Is something amiss?” In response, she conveyed her astonishment at meeting him in person, explaining that she had grown up watching him on the big screen, and that her entire family were avid admirers of his work.

Before joining the film industry and being noticed by Salman Khan, she shared, she frequently watched him cycle around Mumbai’s Bandra neighborhood. She fondly recalled her college years, explaining that she enjoyed chasing after him as he biked along Carter Road.

Salman Khan on the work front

In terms of his career, Khan is now gearing up for the film “Sikandar,” where he acts alongside Rashmika Mandanna. This project is helmed by AR Murugadoss and is slated for a premiere on Eid in 2025.
