Akshay Kumar and Dilijit Dosanjh, who acted together in Good Newwz (2019), are teaming up again, although it’s not yet certain if Dilijit will reprise his role as a singer in the remake of “Do You Know.” A source revealed that this collaboration is due to the similarity between the tune of “Do You Know” and the style of the upcoming urban comedy-drama.

“Since Diljit’s tune remains well-liked, the producers believed that reintroducing it would strike a chord with the audience once more and generate excitement.” (HT City’s source stated.)

It turns out that this decision was made at the eleventh hour, with the cast set to film it on either August 4th or 5th. Notably, the stars of Khel Khel Mein – Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal – are expected to appear in a song together.

Khel Khel Mein is a humorous series of misunderstandings involving three sets of couples, overseen by director Mudassar Aziz, renowned for his work on the Happy Bhag Jayegi series. Based on the 2016 Italian film Perfect Strangers, this side-splitting spectacle is produced collaboratively by T-Series Films, Wakaoo Films, and White World Productions.

On August 15 this year, Khel Khel Mein and Stree 2 will have a showdown at the box office. Originally, Khel Khel Mein was slated for release on September 6, but it has been moved up to celebrate Independence Day. The star-studded cast of Stree 2 includes Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in significant roles.

On the contrary, Diljit Dosanjh was last featured in Jagdeep Sidhu’s Jatt & Juliet 3 alongside Neeru Bajwa, Jasmin Bajwa, Rana Ranbir, B. N. Sharma, and Nasir Chinyoti, among others.
