Having witnessed the evolution of this iconic silhouette since its inception in 1996, it’s fascinating to see how it continues to reinvent itself while staying true to its roots.

30 years ago, Nike unleashed the iconic Air More Uptempo on the world, and it’s still a staple in their seasonal lineup today. Just last week, we got a fresh wave of the “Olympic” colorway back on shelves, and now, we’re eagerly waiting for the launch of the Air More Uptempo Low. This isn’t the first time this basketball sneaker has been reimagined in a low-top version – last year, AMBUSH dropped their own take on the Air More Uptempo Low in three unique colorways. As a gamer and sneaker enthusiast, I can’t wait to add these classics to my collection!

Instead of the AMBUSH collab, these kicks feature graffiti-style “AIR” text that runs from toe to heel, wrapping around the sole and even the heel. First seen in a “Black/Photon Dust” colorway, this low-top version starts with black at the base and offers plenty of contrast against the white lettering and Nike branding.
