As a seasoned gamer who’s been through countless action-packed adventures, I can’t help but feel a thrill running down my spine as I witness Eiza González joining the star-studded cast of “Mike and Nick and Nick and Alice.” With her impressive resume and knack for pulling off high-octane roles, she’s undoubtedly going to bring an electrifying energy to this time-traveling buddy action comedy.
Actress Eiza González is currently discussing terms to be part of the cast, alongside James Marsden and Vince Vaughn, in the movie titled “Mike and Nick and Nick and Alice“, produced by 20th Century Studios for the year 2021.
Benjamin Grabinski, responsible for the Netflix animated series “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,” penned the screenplay for the action-comedy and plans to take on the director’s role for a project slated to commence shooting in August, in Winnipeg, Canada.
The storyline isn’t fully disclosed yet, but it appears to be an action-packed buddy comedy taking place within the criminal underworld, potentially featuring a time travel twist. It’s been rumored that Vaughn might portray both characters named Nick in the film’s title.
Andrew Lazar, who last worked on true-life swimming drama Nyad, is producing.
At present, González is featured in “3 Body Problem,” a series created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, known for their work on “Game of Thrones,” as well as Alexander Woo, a producer from “True Blood.” Since its debut in March, the show has been commissioned for two additional seasons and garnered six Emmy nominations.
Coming up, you’ll find González starring in the Spanish boxing limited series “La Maquina“. In this series, he will be acting alongside Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna. This show is set to make its debut as Hulu’s inaugural Spanish-language series.
In 2025, she is expected to collaborate once more with director Guy Ritchie from the film “The Ministry of Gentlemanly Warfare” on a new action thriller titled “In the Grey”. This movie will also feature Jake Gyllenhaal and Henry Cavill. Previously, she completed shooting an adventure thriller known as “Fountain of Youth”, another Ritchie production that will also star John Krasinski and Natalie Portman.
