Additionally, viewers have expressed a desire to revisit Scotland and the castle, as the initial season spent a considerable amount of time there, but subsequent seasons have moved away from this location.

When transitioning Diana Gabaldon’s book series from page to screen, certain elements had to be left out for the TV show. Author Vince Gilligan and his team consult with Gabaldon about changes, and she has expressed her appreciation for the show in Season 7. However, there are several aspects of the background and extended stays in Scotland that have been noticeably absent, a concern that Moore acknowledges has caused frustration among some fans. The Frasers’ return to Scotland in the second half of Season 7 may not be a permanent fixture for the remainder of the series, which will conclude after Season 8. Moore further explained this potential departure.

Some part of the audience yearns for the olden times of the Highlands, along with certain characters and mythology associated with them.
