As a seasoned gamer of TV series and shows, I can confidently say that the return of Carrie Preston as Elsbeth Tascioni is an event I’ve been eagerly anticipating since the cliffhanger ending of Season 1. As a longtime fan of Carrie Preston’s work, I am thrilled to see her back on television as Elsbeth Tascioni for the show named after her character. During our chat for the Season 1 finale, which was back in the spring, I couldn’t help but ask Carrie Preston if she had any wished-for guest stars for Season 2. Given that Season 1 boasted big names like Keegan-Michael Key, Jane Krakowski, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (to name only a few), I was curious to know who she’d love to see join the cast next. Carrie, as Elsbeth, shared her thoughts on this matter.
As a devoted fan, I must confess that Michael Emerson, my beloved husband in imagination, is someone I’d adore to see on our show. Yet, New York’s ocean teems with exceptional talent, actors whom I long to have gracing our screens. If given the chance, I could name scores of them, and every single one would bring an unparalleled charm to our production.
