Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are among the most beloved couples within the realm of Bollywood. After spending several years together as a couple, they officially tied the knot on December 9, 2021. This upcoming year marks their third anniversary since their wedding.
During the event, Vicky, who was there with his co-star Rashmika Mandanna as they walked the ramp for designer Falguni Shane Peacock, expressed that he had been missing Katrina and wished he could chat with her offstage.
During a post-event interview with Zoom, actor Vicky Kaushal enthusiastically complimented Falguni Shane Peacock’s designs, expressing that they brought back memories of his marriage as many pieces reminded him of Katrina’s preferences. He jokingly mentioned, “I felt like calling Katrina,” but she was unavailable since she was on a flight. He promised to share his thoughts with her later, while expressing admiration for the designers’ talent, saying, “Bravo! You guys are brilliant.”
On August 28, or Sunday, Vicky – who’s been occupied with his movie promotion “Bad Newz” – managed to take a break and spent the day with Katrina. Interestingly, Katrina took on the role of photographer for him, capturing moments where he appeared relaxed. He titled the post, “Lazy Sunday and my wife decided to be the photographer!”
Discussing Chhava, this is a biographical period movie where Vicky will portray Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. To prepare for his role, Vicky has put in a lot of effort and underwent a significant physical change. In May, the film was completed by Vicky Kaushal, who shared an emotional message along with a video from the sets to announce the wrap-up.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement when I share that this upcoming film, beyond just featuring Rashmika Mandanna and me (in a dream world!), also boasts an impressive cast including Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Neil Bhoopalam in key roles. If you recall, Rashmika will grace our screens as Yesubai Bhosale, while the talented Akshaye Khanna will embody Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. This masterpiece is under the direction of Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, promising a release on December 6, 2024. Can’t wait!
