Renowned chef Harsh Dixit, known for cooking meals for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s anniversary and KL Rahul’s birthday, reminisced about catering to Rakhi Sawant years ago. He humorously mentioned her phone calls where she would negotiate prices and shared that she used to send him unusual voice messages.
Harsh Dixit, the proprietor of a private chef service catering to wealthy patrons, disclosed that he once managed a popular meal delivery service for several well-known Bollywood figures around ten years back. It was during this time that he had the pleasure of meeting Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. One of his notable clients back then was Rakhi Sawant, whom he characterized as being just as she seems in public life.
On the Untriggered with AminJaz podcast, Chef Harsh Dixit spoke about Rakhi Sawant, stating “Man, I’ve received some wild voice messages from her, expressing her preferences.” When inquired if she is similar in private as in public, Harsh chuckled and affirmed, “Indeed! Her voice messages are genuine too. Whatever we perceive of her all the time is real. During fasting periods, she’d request sabudana khichdi, leaving us puzzled about where she could find protein calories. I didn’t realize she was managing herself without any assistance.”
Harsh mentioned that it had been more than ten years since then, and Rakhi frequently attempted to negotiate over the phone during that period. He remembered her saying phrases such as “No way,” or simply “Babu, nahi hoga.” He also expressed that it was quite entertaining.
Chef Harsh Dixit shared memories of his venture into entrepreneurship and recalled the time he prepared meals for celebrities. He detailed that he ran a popular meal delivery service catering to several Bollywood stars approximately ten years ago. He mentioned, “My journey began in a restaurant, which later led to me starting a meal-prep service. As it was a unique concept, it attracted attention from the film industry. They wanted delivered meals tailored to their dietary needs. Ranbir Kapoor was one of our clients back then.”
He added that he was cooking for a wide range of celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shahid Kapoor, and even Rakhi Sawant.
