When Chris Evans was given the possibility by Ryan Reynolds to appear unexpectedly in the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine“, he didn’t hesitate and eagerly accepted the offer.

The performer has shared with People magazine his experience of returning as Johnny Storm/Human Torch in the blockbuster Marvel film based on Fantastic Four, which is now showing in cinemas.

“A few years back, I received a message from Ryan, who’s my friend. He wrote, ‘Hey, if you’re not feeling this concept at all, don’t hesitate. But I’ve got an opportunity that could be a real crowd pleaser and let you reprise a character from your past.’ “

As a grateful gamer who’s had the privilege of working with Ryan on Free Guy, I’d leap at any opportunity he throws my way. He’s already given me an awesome cameo, and I blindly trust him. So, when he asked me to reprise my role as Johnny, I simply couldn’t resist. It was a blast to film, a delight to watch, and I cherished every moment of it.

Despite being primarily known for his portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Evans reprised his role as Johnny Storm over two decades after he initially introduced the character in the 2005 movie “Fantastic Four”. He also acted in “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” which was released in 2007.

As a gaming enthusiast, I recently found myself in a unique situation, stepping into a director’s chair by Shawn Levy for a cameo in one of his films after the main credits rolled. In this film, I delivered a colorful, no-holds-barred monologue that left quite an impression.

“Ryan suggested using cue cards, but I made it clear that I wouldn’t need them since I planned to memorize the lines,” Evans recalled. “I rarely get to speak lines like these, and I’m really looking forward to it.”

As a film enthusiast with years of experience under my belt, I must say that it was truly an honor to be part of such an incredible movie alongside actors like Evans, Levy, Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman. Playing Johnny again brought back memories of my childhood dreams coming true, and he’ll always hold a special place in my heart. This experience has left a lasting impact on my life, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such talented individuals.
