As a dedicated follower of Bollywood movies, I must say that the news about Welcome to the Jungle being delayed due to set damage is quite disappointing. I’ve been eagerly waiting for this film since its announcement last year and was looking forward to seeing Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, and the rest of the star-studded cast in action.
Akshay Kumar is gearing up to rejoin the Welcome series in its third part, titled “Welcome to the Jungle.” The announcement for this movie was made last year, and filming has been ongoing since then. However, production has temporarily halted due to damage to the comedy’s multi-star set caused by heavy rain. Director Ahmed Khan shared that they will resume shooting once the set has been rebuilt.
In a recent announcement, it became known that the filming location for the upcoming movie “Welcome to the Jungle” experienced partial destruction due to intense rainfall in Mumbai. The production team had meticulously constructed a large set prior to their extensive filming plan starting on the first week of August 2024. This schedule was expected to involve 34 actors, including Akshay Kumar, as well as a song recording session.
Despite the postponement in the film’s production, the team is diligently rebuilding the impressive set at this time. In a recent communication, director Ahmed Khan addressed the current circumstances and expressed his intention to restart filming as soon as the set has been restored.
He expressed regret that part of the set was ruined by the heavy rains in Mumbai, but creatively, he’s chosen to start filming only after the set has been rebuilt. His team is tirelessly working on reconstruction, and they hope to commence shooting soon.
In the 2023 trailer for the film, the actors were shown singing acapella, offering a sneak peek of the exciting entertainment audiences can expect.
In this film titled “Welcome to the Jungle,” acting stars such as Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, and others join forces. The production company for this movie is Base Industries Group, with Firoz A. Nadiadwallah serving as the producer.
Right now, Akshay is busy preparing for the premiere of his movie titled Khel Khel Mein. This film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on August 15.
