Hailing from sunny Santa Ana, California, this brand seems to have struck a chord with me, as their ethos of celebrating nature’s beauty through punkish, graphic-led silhouettes resonates deeply with my love for the great outdoors and edgy fashion.
Based in Santa Ana, California, Afield Out is an outdoor lifestyle brand that emphasizes the stunning beauty of nature, doing so through bold, graphic designs and harmonious color palettes with a punkish edge. In April, they showcased their practical Spring 2024 collection. Now, for the summer heat, they’ve unveiled a laid-back ready-to-wear lineup featuring earthy details to complement the season.
Under the guidance of self-taught designer Brian Chor, the collection launches featuring a couple of drift shirts available in both “Pine” and “Black” hues. The pre-shrunk button-ups offer a casual, slightly cropped fit with soft cotton sleeves and nylon fabric. Additionally, “Brown Universe” hoodies showcase emblems from Afield Out brand on the chest, while several T-shirts carry planetary themes. For instance, the “Earth” T-shirt has text that reads “You And I Are Earth,” and the “Sand Balance” T-shirt depicts multiple women forming a peace sign above the label of the brand.

Over time, these camouflage patterned nylon pants called “camo stitch” have an elastic waistband and intricate stitching details, along with a brand logo printed on them. The “Element” shorts come in colors like black, teal, and sand, with artwork designs screen-printed all over and creative variations of the brand’s signage. To complete the collection, there are several casual hats available that match the graphics found on the T-shirts.
