Akshay Kumar reveals he and wife Twinkle Khanna are ‘completely different’: ‘She thinks left, I think right’

As an ardent admirer of the enchanting duo, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, I find their relationship to be nothing short of a beautiful testament to love, respect, and mutual understanding. Their differences, while stark, are beautifully complemented by their shared values and respect for each other.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are well-known couples in Bollywood. They prefer to keep their relationship private yet impactful. As Akshay prepares for the release of his upcoming comedy film, Khel Khel Mein, he emphasized that while he and Twinkle have distinct personalities, it is the mutual respect they share that keeps them bonded together.

During a recent chat with Galataa India, Akshay Kumar discussed his connection with his wife Twinkle Khanna. He expressed, “My wife and I are quite opposite. We’re almost opposites in every way. She tends to think from the left side, while I prefer the right. Our thought processes are vastly different. The only things we share a common interest in are early bedtimes and early mornings. We also enjoy playing games like Rugby or Ludo together. Everything else, we approach differently.”

The performer emphasized that what truly matters aren’t these specific items; instead, he underscored the significance of mutual respect and allowing room for one another. He further explained that in an ideal pairing, many qualities should align, but if only one crucial quality – respect – is shared, it compensates for any differences in the other 35 qualities.

It’s worth noting that Akshay’s wife and actress Twinkle Khanna, known for her column writing, recently shared a humorous story from their vacation. She mentioned an intriguing incident that occurred during their drive back to camp. Their guide introduced them to a unique bird pair called ‘tik-tik’. Remarkably, these birds are so devoted that when one dies, the other might end its life by consuming harmful vegetation.

The woman told her husband Akshay, “Listen carefully, if I pass away before you, promise me you’ll consume harmful plants as well. If I ever find you with another woman using my handbags, I vow to haunt both of you,” she wrote. In response, the Khel Khel Mein actor jokingly expressed his desire to eat that poisonous plant right away so he wouldn’t have to endure all this talk.

On August 15, 2024, Akshay Kumar’s comedic movie “Khel Khel Mein,” featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and others, will be shown in theaters.
