In a recent interview, Sunny, who portrayed Abhimanyu, a character with a kind yet twisted side, disclosed that he studied interviews of two infamous American serial killers, Ted Bundy and Jeffery Dahmer, to prepare for his role in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba.
Sunny Kaushal excelled in portraying Abhimanyu, a character who competes for Rani’s (Taapsee Pannu) affection alongside her husband Rishabh (Vikrant Massey), who is concealing himself in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. In an interview with PTI, Sunny revealed, “I studied a few interviews of Ted Bundy and Dahmer. They both shared a similar characteristic: they never questioned whether what they were doing was wrong. Abhimanyu briefly exhibited this trait as well.”
Additionally, he mentioned, “If someone harms him, he’ll retaliate in kind. This is his notion of justice… It’s his method of stating, ‘If you harm me, I have the power to harm you as well.'”
