She started out as a model
As a gaming enthusiast, I first caught the public eye as a model for Playboy back in the day. Music has always been my passion, but fate led me to be spotted by an agent for the magazine instead. In 2019, under a new name Tornado Thien, she claimed to be a bride of Christ and attempted to crowdfund for a gospel album, raising $5,835 out of the desired $30,000. More concerning was a 2020 video on her YouTube account where she appeared to be teaching Isabella racist behaviors.
A more sedate 2024
For the past year, Tila Tequila’s social media activity has noticeably decreased. Her X account showcases nude and semi-nude images, appeals to fans asking them to send her money via Cash App or buy gifts for her on Wishtender, modeling shots, and promotions of her singing career. She remains active on Instagram, with content that is largely similar.
In simpler terms, her most recent questionable public statement was made during an August 2023 outburst where she accused Nicky and Paris Hilton of making a pact with the devil to gain fame at the expense of Casey Johnson. She also shared that she believed she had been taken over by the devil following her rise on MTV in 2012. More recently, she has significantly reduced her controversial statements and revealed in a Facebook post from September 2023 that she is currently writing a memoir about her childhood experiences.
Although her controversial Sig Heil gesture remains etched in viewers’ minds, Tequila persistently shares content with her fan base.
