Having personally experienced the language barrier challenges when stepping out of my comfort zone, I can relate to her feelings about speaking in English all the time. However, it seems that Alia has managed to conquer this hurdle with grace and professionalism, as evident in her striking debut in Heart of Stone.
In the previous year, 2023, Alia Bhatt launched her Hollywood career in an impactful manner with the action-packed thriller titled Heart of Stone. Exactly one year ago today, on August 11, 2024, this film celebrated its anniversary since release. Joining Alia on screen were Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The movie garnered numerous accolades from fans. On this first anniversary, Alia posted a heartfelt message accompanied by some memorable moments captured during production.
On her Instagram Story, Alia Bhatt posted two photos. One snapshot captures her taking a selfie in front of a mirror while filming Heart of Stone. The other photo depicts Alia alongside her co-star Gal Gadot.
Bhatt joyfully posted a photo, stating her delight that Heart of Stone had been out for a year, and commented with “Nice memories from Heart of Stone (heart emoji) Can’t believe it’s been a full year!!!! #1YearOfHeartOfStone”. She also tagged Gal and Jamie Dornan.

During an interview with the Toronto Sun, Alia shared her thoughts on her transition, stating: “At first, speaking English exclusively felt strange for me since I’m accustomed to using Hindi, even though I often use English as well. However, acting in English initially seemed a bit odd.”
In the meantime, Alia is preparing for the premiere of Jigra, a movie directed by Vasan Bala. According to Bollywood Hungama, the audience can expect a sneak peek soon with a promo. The 2-minute-long teaser has reportedly been given a U rating. Although the release date of the teaser hasn’t been announced yet, it is expected to be out soon. Besides Alia, Vedang Raina will also star in Jigra and it is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2024.
Additionally, Bhatt is involved in the film “Love & War,” directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She will appear alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal on screen.
