Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, and Jenn Fessler sat together in one room, while Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, Dolores Catania occupied the other. Notably, only Dolores visited the opposing room for a quick hello.
Bravo’s cameras captured everything – Sirens Media editors were busy at work – as the cast reacted spontaneously during the broadcast of the show, almost all the way through. With only a few minutes left from Sunday night’s special, the women were invited to express their regrets and share their final thoughts.
In the room and during their private conversations, each woman firmly stated that this incident marked a significant end for their larger social circle. Gorga unequivocally declared her relationship with Giudice, her estranged sister-in-law, and her family is finished. Cabral expressed regret over allowing Aydin into her life. Josephs referred to the finale as a battle between good and evil, while Goldschneider suggested that changes are necessary for the show. As Catania concluded, she nervously hoped it wasn’t their final interaction.
As a gamer diving into this reality show, I was hoping for some sort of resolution between the divided cast. However, it seems that the divide only deepened, with Fessler openly siding with one group and Catania appearing less neutral than usual throughout the season. The only point where all the women found common ground was their demand for Louie Ruelas to apologize for his inappropriate comment about wishing harm on Josephs’ child (he has since issued an apology on social media, as Giudice predicted he would).
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve been following the twists and turns of RHONJ closely. For the first time in history, Andy Cohen, the executive producer, announced that this season wouldn’t feature a reunion episode. He further explained, “We are planning to reimagine the show in some way.” However, he referred to this special episode as being similar to a series finale, stating, “It sort of feels like a series finale, right?”
