In simpler terms, the “Game of the Year” award is given to a video game that offers exceptional creativity and technology for players or consumers. This selection process involves nominations and votes. For instance, Baldur’s Gate 3 developed by Larian Studios was crowned as the Game of the Year in 2023.

One of the most thrilling aspects for me, as a loyal fan, is the inclusion of new playable party members, like Red XIII and Cait Sith. Furthermore, the reappearance of beloved characters such as Cid Highwind and Vincent Valentine adds an extra layer of delight. For us long-term fans, these additions are truly a cherished treat!
Despite some controversy over the reimagining of Final Fantasy 7 as a trilogy, the immense popularity of the game and its franchise is evident from the overwhelmingly positive reception towards Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
