Right before all the excitement, Anthony Mackie graced the stage to promote his much-anticipated film, Captain America: Brave New World, alongside a few of his fellow stars. In a hilarious TikTok video that went viral on ET, Mackie joked about how he thought he and the gang had stolen the show – that is, until the grand return of the original MCU player!
What really gets under my skin is this: I thought I was doing well. People were saying things like “Wow, that’s the best trailer I’ve ever seen!” And I was thinking, “I’ve got Harrison Ford here!” But then, as we stepped off stage, I learned that Robert Downey Jr. had announced his return to the universe. There’s a possibility that the actor might have a chance for retaliation against his long-standing screen partner when they come face-to-face again. Concerningly, the Electric State actor expressed an aspiration regarding Captain America’s encounter with Doctor Doom:

It’s likely that many Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) heroes will be eager to confront Victor von Doom when he appears in the upcoming films. Robert Downey Jr., known for his roles as Iron Man, has been chosen to portray this character in “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Secret Wars.” Although some fans are thrilled about Downey playing a villain, others remain skeptical.
