As a long-time fan of Tim Burton’s enchanting universe and a dedicated LEGO enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming LEGO Ideas set based on “The Nightmare Before Christmas”! Growing up, Halloween Town was a magical place that transported me to a world filled with eerie delight, and now I have the chance to bring it into my own home.
Enthusiasts of LEGO toys have an exciting opportunity now: they can materialize Tim Burton’s classic film, “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” using a fresh IDEAS collection. This 2,193-piece set empowers fans to construct three unique structures from the enchanting animated movie.
Directly from the realm of Halloween Town emerge Spiral Hill, the Halloween Town Hall, and Jack Skellington’s ominous mansion. Atop Spiral Hill rests a collection of “RIP” tombstones, pumpkins, and Jack’s faithful companion Zero. Upon the hill’s summit stand figures of Jack and Lucy, affectionately entwined.
As a gamer, I’ve just gotten my hands on this spooktacular Halloween Town Hall! It’s got all the details, like a banner and clock perched atop those grand columns leading into the town, and a chilling statue out front that sets the tone. But the real star of the show is Jack’s massive mansion, towering over 12 inches high (32.5 cm)! A gated entrance marks the beginning of Jack’s yard, with brick walls flanking each side and an eerie orange-leaved tree growing alongside his house. Can’t wait to explore this place further!
Last month, LEGO paid homage to another classic film, 1975’s JAWS, with a set consisting of the Orca boat and the shark itself.
On September 6, the LEGO set inspired by the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will officially hit the market at a price of $199 USD. However, LEGO Insiders are granted early access from September 3.
