The second season will carry forward the tale of Galadriel (played by Morfydd Clark), as she tirelessly pursues the elimination of Sauron. The trailer hints at the comeback of Sauron, portrayed by Charlie Vickers, as he embarks on his mission to overthrow Middle-earth.
Sauron is back in action. Chased away by Galadriel, he stands alone without an army or allies. The resurgent Dark Lord now has to depend on his wit and guile to regain his power, while secretly manufacturing the Rings of Power that would enable him to dominate all the folk of Middle-earth under his malicious control.
Amidst the ongoing conflict between elves, dwarves, and humans, Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) is in a desperate hurry to thwart Sauron before his strength grows beyond measure. The final episode of Season 1 marked the creation and distribution of the Rings of Power among her allies. Yet, if wielded improperly, these rings could unleash an immense, destructive force.

After discarding his disguise as Halbrand, the true form of Sauron, the Dark Overlord, has been revealed.
