As an old-school gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that iAgent Protocol has piqued my interest in ways I never thought possible. The idea of facing off against an NPC trained by someone as skilled as myself is not just exciting, but downright revolutionary!
Every time I dive into a new game world, I can’t help but notice the predictable actions of these NPC characters, no matter how intricate their design may seem. After interacting with them multiple times, I find myself anticipating their responses, and as with any routine, it becomes tiresome rather swiftly.
Imagine playing against an NPC created by a player as talented as you, who has learned all your strategies and tactics. This would undeniably revitalize those classic games you thought you had mastered long ago. That’s the very purpose behind iAgent Protocol – a digital asset creation platform that harnesses AI and blockchain technology to enable players to train their own custom NPCs, or iAgents.
At the Malaysia Blockchain Week and Asia Blockchain Summit, iAgent Protocol unveiled an innovative concept: AI-agents, a groundbreaking type of digital asset. This new class enables individuals worldwide to design, educate, swap, and profit from customized AI-agents.
At MBW & ABS event, attendees were given a sneak peek at an iAgent that was trained using videos featuring professional CounterStrike player Flaxcis from Team Secret. By leveraging data from Flaxcis’ gameplay, this iAgent showcased the human-like abilities and tactics that iAgent Protocol aims to use in overhauling the outdated NPCs of the past.
At a recent event, Jamie Batzorig, the CEO of iAgent and an esteemed public speaker, showcased iAgent for the first time. He delved into how the development team collaborated with AethirCloud, a company constructing decentralized cloud infrastructure, to bring this innovation to life. The iAgent protocol, driven by DePIN, taps into underutilized graphics processing unit (GPU) resources worldwide and converts them into a global network dedicated to training AI-agents.
iAgent’s growth is facilitated by several key allies: GEDA, a dynamic web3 esports environment that’s attracting esports aficionados, and Emerge group, a prominent gaming promotions agency with a track record of collaborating with renowned entities such as Valorant, Mobile Legends, and Riot Games.
One of the most promising takeaways from the showcase is that the tools used to create this groundbreaking digital asset will soon be available to everyone in the gaming ecosystem. A player only needs gameplay footage to develop their own AI-agent – of which they’ll have full ownership through the first-of-its-kind AI_NFT standard (OFT) developed by LayerZero Labs – which represents their personal gaming strategies, styles, and creativity, turning them into a digital representation of their gaming persona.
