On August 14th, Amazon Prime Video unveiled a fun video starring Ananya Panday. This video offers a peek behind the scenes as the filmmaker prepares for the unique “launch sequence” of Call Me Bae. In this video, we see Ananya seated within a spaceship, with Karan Johar overseeing the preparations.

During their conversation, Karan inquires about the leading character’s vitality, style factor, and financial status, which leaves Ananya a bit perplexed as to his intentions. Karan explains that he’s preparing for her debut event, but Ananya gently reminds him that she’s already had her big break.

Karan humorously points out that while people have one chance at living, dying, and getting married, they can be “launched” multiple times, using the term “OTT launch.” He clarifies that this refers to the upcoming series Call Me Bae on Prime Video. Directed by Collin D’cunha, the show also stars Mini Mathur in a significant role.

The captivating tale is penned by the trio of writers – Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair. This production, under the management of Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra at Dharmatic Entertainment Pvt Ltd, is named Call Me Bae. It’s scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video on September 6, 2024. Furthermore, in her upcoming projects, you will also find CTRL, which will be aired on Netflix starting October 4, 2024.
