As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the news from Devcom and Gamescom this year has been nothing short of exhilarating! The mobile gaming scene is booming, and it’s a testament to the creativity and innovation in our industry.

As we kick off a fresh week, many people are resuming work routines, but for numerous game developers, it’s not just another workweek; it’s the beginning of their most significant seven days this year. Events like Devcom and Gamescom create a consecutive gathering where the industry and enthusiasts unite for both business transactions and exhibitions.

Before the commencement of Gamescom, some industry award ceremonies took place as a prelude. At the Devcom Indie Awards, the mobile gaming sector saw significant success. In the Mobile Marvels category, Dungeons of Dreadrock emerged victorious. This pixel art puzzle adventure game outshone its competitors Potion Punch Rivals and The Horticulturists to secure the top position.
