As a die-hard fan of Bollywood, I must say that the recent success party for Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 was nothing short of electrifying! The videos and photos that surfaced online have only fueled my excitement for this film.
The festivities for Amar Kaushik’s successful horror-comedy film Stree 2 were full of life and excitement, as depicted in recent photos and videos. In a fresh video clip from the success party, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kriti Sanon, and Shraddha Kapoor brought the dance floor to life with their vibrant performances. Directed by Kaushik, Stree 2 has reached an impressive feat, amassing over Rs 200 crore in its initial five days at the box office.
To commemorate the exceptional box office triumph and multiple record-breaking feats of the movie Stree 2, its team organized a vibrant party. A newly released clip depicts Tamannaah Bhatia, Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sunny Kaushal dancing to the song Aaj Ki Raat, with Tamannaah taking charge of the hookstep, followed by the others joining in.
As I gaze at a different video, I find myself beaming with pride as I see my partner, Vijay Varma, enthusiastically whistling from the sidelines, encouraging me to dance in a striking black gown. The scene unfolds with Shraddha Kapoor gracefully bowing to acknowledge my performance, followed by a heartwarming embrace between us two ladies.
Previously, a photo emerged showing stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania and Dinesh Vijan, producer of Stree 2 and the head of Maddock Films, enjoying a lively gathering. The occasion was marked by a cake with the message, “She is Stree, she can do anything.”
On August 15, the movie featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao was released alongside Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. However, within five days, it has become the audience’s clear preference, raking in an impressive Rs 228 crore at the domestic box office. This is significantly more than what the other two films have earned during this timeframe.
In continuation of the storyline from Amar Kaushik’s 2018 blockbuster Stree, this sequel explores further into the horror-comedy universe crafted by Dinesh Vijan, also encompassing Bhediya and the surprise success Munjya, both productions of Maddock Films. Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee join the cast for this installment. The narrative revolves around a group of friends, with Rajkummar Rao’s character Vicky, a tailor, leading the way. Their hometown, Chanderi, encounters a fresh danger from the antagonist Sarkata, prompting them to enlist Stree’s aid in defeating him.
